UK’s first pro-corruption political party launches.

political corruption warning sign

The party has a three-stage approach to achieving electoral success.

Firstly, they will bribe existing MPs and councillors to defect to them. Secondly, they will institute a system of “buy a policy” for key corporate sponsors. Finally, they plan to reward people who vote for them.

Millionaire party founder David Dicey explained,

“Corruption is widely prevalent in British politics. All the main parties support it but for some reason it has acquired a bad name. We aim to rectify that and restore corruption to its rightful role at the centre of politics and decision making in the UK. No more secret and shady meetings we will let the voters know exactly just how corrupt we are. Influence is a valuable commodity and should be sold to the highest bidder just like any other resource.

The rewards to voters will not be in the traditional format of new hospitals and schools in target seats. No, we plan to revolutionise politics by putting money in the bank accounts of anyone who gives us their vote. We expect the system to ultimately operate much like a supermarket loyalty card- the more you vote for us the more you get. Hopefully this should lead not only to Reward MPs being elected but also a dramatic increase in turnout at elections. All the parties claim to want to tackle voter apathy but none are proposing bold initiatives like this one.

We do have a problem with secret voting. Ultimately, we aim to repeal this ridiculous policy and return to something more like the traditional rotten boroughs of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.”
